Yahoo!

Memorial, 3-day weekend starts tomorrow, Saturday.... Yehey! Though I've been invited to a Wii Party, a housewarming event, movie viewing as well as a bowling session, I prefer spending my weekends at home, catching some sleep and watching TFC. Yes, I am that boring...

This guy's amazing shots makes me want to do Parkour moves and purchase a Canon digicam with remote controller. He works as an animator/graphic designer in Kirkland. Cool, eh?

Drama @ whereelse?

All is well now that I'm in my third week of being a permanent employee. Unfortunately that's not the case for some of my co-workers. Let's start with the gossipmongers a.k.a contractual co-workers:

- Some said I got the job because I'm related by blood to my Lead. Related? We're just both chinky-eyed but he's Taiwanese-American and I'm full-blooded Filipina. It's like saying Puerto Rico is in Mexico. Hahahaha.

- Some are literally raising eyebrows, looking at me from head to toe, possibly their way of saying, I don't deserve the job. It's ok. Just look. Don't touch! Hahaha.

Now, comes the Superiors part:

- Some are complaining because I am newly- hired yet I already have my own pc...well, a workstation. They've been with the company for several years now still they don't have their own cubicles.

- One facilitator is furious. He applied for the same position but passed only two (out of five!) interviews. He had the nerves to tell me that he has been in the company longer than I did. That's so true but! I guess I'm more qualified than him, education and experience wise. Lalala lalala....oh I'm singing a happy tune.

Simply put, they still can't accept the fact that I, a dorky, petite, round-faced Asian in her early 20's got the (most-coveted?!!?) position at Nin-teen-duh. What can I say but, "Better luck next time!"
