V for Valentine.



Ryan treated me to a Four-course fondue at The Melting Pot in downtown Bellevue. The meal costs US$68/person. My Chocolate Martini, which is served in a fairly-sized martini glass costs US$10.00! Quite pricey for a Pre-Valentine's dinner. Oh wait! I didn't shell out a single penny for it so, why complain? Hahaha. (Pics)

Then comes Valentine's Day. We had dinner at Olive Garden in Kirkland. (Pics)

Mama Sarah, our plan to go to a Morrocan Restaurant in Seattle didn't pushed through because I forgot to bring my coin belt. Kidding aside, this V-day celebration and a Football event on that very same night, made the traffic worst: from I-90 to 405 and of course I-5. Actually, it took me nearly two hours to get to Kirkland from Redmond. In case you don't know, they are neighboring cities! Eastside at its worst!




Who said V-Day is just for lover err...partners? I gave my mother a potted Campanula (to which she reacted, "These are flowers for the dead".), Valentine's card and a Strawberry Pie.

V-Day is the best time for me to raid my closet, look for a nice dress and strut it out as if it wasn't purchased in Walmart. Hahaha. Come to think of it, I looked decent without burning a hole in my pocket. Another hahaha. Kudos to my shopping-on-a-budget skill. One last time - HAHAHA.
